Hello, thank you for stopping by!
Let me introduce myself and help you get to know me a little better, this is a private page I’ve created just for you.
I’m Lorraine, born and bred in the beautiful county of Donegal in the north west of Ireland. I’m a full time creative mastermind specialising in unique wedding stationery of all sorts. I studied Graphic Design in LYIT where I got my Honours Degree and from there I worked my way up in the design field until I was confident enough to stand alone and create LW
Designs. I feel lucky to do something every day that I love and I always had the dream of running my own business and my dream has come true.
I’m an Animal lover of one horse called Maisy and a dog named George, nothing I enjoy more is time out with those two. When times are busy I find heading out for a hack on Maisy down my local country back roads clears the mind and funny enough I get loads of new ideas when I’m out and I usually have a list of these by the time I get back. I also
love to keep my fitness levels up and enjoy going to training with Rushe Fitness three times a week. It’s a hour out were I can meet others and have a laugh while trying to master the Burpee!
I’ve a very creative mind and look at things differently than others.
I love making wedding stationery for all my couples. Over the past few years I’ve gain so much experience working with couples and learning from them what they want and need from a stationery designer which is why I’ve created ranges to suit all. I felt the need to have a ready to buy range that couples can pick the designs they like best, get the details changed and away you go! I also love working with couples to create bespoke designs that show off their personality, we work together to design exactly what you want for your wedding day. Meeting up with couples is the best way for me to get to know you, hear your story, how you met and got engaged these are the best stories. Sitting down with you both also gives me a good idea of the type of wedding you are going to plan, your styling for the day and your colours all give me an idea of what type of Invitation would suit you can a couple and your wedding day. Once we go over the ideas stage I go about creating a draft to you show both, this is the first time couples get to see my ideas come to life and now things get exciting!
Your wedding invitations are the first thing your guests see and I love that I’m apart of that, I’ve been in houses where I’ve seen my work sitting on top of the fireplace and that feeling you get seeing your work up there I suppose it’s like being very proud of one of your kids…lol!
My passion shines through.
As you heard me say above the feeling you get seeing your work sitting pride of place in
someones house it such a proud moment for me. I love what I do, I love seeing couples reactions when they get their invitations, almost feels like my wedding day I get so excited for you!
My favourite thing.
Seeing everything come together close to the day and on the day. All the hard work over the past few months I see couples put in and seeing an image of them on the day so happy and relaxed is the best.
If I was getting married?
Overwhelmed! To say the least. Where do you start? This is something most couples are doing for the first time, you might have never planned a party before to this scale and a wedding is such a huge day. Don’t panic…relax, enjoy it! Really..if you don’t enjoy this time it will be over before you know it. Give yourself plenty of time to gather up information on suppliers, make bookings carefully and decide on what you both want not what others think you should have. Most couples plan 2 years in advance, this gives you time to book your date, your venues (Church & Hotel), photographers, hair & make up are usually next on the list followed by making appointments for dress shopping, which can be a difficult time to get everyone together. On the run down the list you start to think about your invitations, venue styling and any extra activities you might what to book. Of course you have your hen and stags in between all of this too! But you will get there, don’t leave it all to
the last minute thinking your too early to book because your not, take the stress out of the planning by getting as much booked in advance as you can so when it comes down to the last 9 to 6 months you only have to finalise details.
If your just starting out or mid way through the planning of your wedding day then attending wedding fayres are a great way to source information on suppliers and if you want to read my blog on wedding fayres you can do so here

Lorraine is a pleasure to work with. I sent her off some design ideas & she designed my wedding invites . I am so glad I found her as Lorraine offers a very personal touch , not that you would get from a printing company. I was so delighted with my invites & everyone commented on them. – Sarah McGroddy
Cannot recommend Lorraine highly enough!!!! Her attention to detail & professional finish is fantastic. She went above & beyond to ensure my wedding stationery was exactly what I wanted. Any bride would be mad to pass this lady for invitations. – Eilish McLaughlin Fildara

Thank you so much. – Ciara Mulhern Gibson
I live in London and so I’m always flying over and back and planning bits and pieces as I go along. I had been chatting to Lorraine about an idea I had in my head and we made loads of changes along the way and no tweak was too small, before finally meeting with her 12 days ago to discuss the final product!
This morning she went out of her way to come and meet me in Letterkenny to give me my finished save the dates before I left for the airport and oh my lord they were better than I even imagined and she worked so hard to get them done in a short space of time!!
I honestly cannot recommend her enough. I won’t post a picture just yet as they have not gone out to guests yet, but even the beautiful printed box and gift wrap that they were presented in was amazing! Going above and
beyond is an understatement for the very talented Lorraine!!– Michelle Dougherty
Thanks so much, you did and amazing job, highly recommend, so easy to work with as I was so easy going, thanks for everything x.– Julie McDaid
